How the Monkey got its Long Tail

A myth submitted to the site by Ben

The monkey lives in the wooded areas of the grasslands in green luscious trees.

Long ago the monkey had a stumpy short tail at the end of its bottom and always used to fall off the trees and the cheetah used to make a fool of it and show off its long tail.

One day the monkeys were fighting in the trees and one monkey pulled the other monkeys tail and a miracle happened. Every one of the monkeys tails grew long and they started swinging on trees and had a celebration.

And that's how the monkey got its long tail.
