There was a time when all the girls loved only one boy in the world, and his name was Tymon. It was a very normal day. Tymon, the young boy of sixteen, was working away on a farm; Tymon was not a normal sixteen years old he was the strongest, bravest and he would do anything for Isla, the prettiest girl in Crete. While Tymon was working, there was suddenly a high pitched scream, which could only come from one beautiful girl, Isla. Tymon dropped the pig’s food and ran to the forest where the high pitched scream came from, which was actually where he lived, Tymon new the wood like the back of his hand. There on the floor crying was Isla’s mother, she spoke in a whimper, and “The Dragon has taken her. How will I ever get her back?” Tymon looked at Isla’s mother then at the dragons cave, he finally said, “I will go and get her back, and kill the Dragon once and for all”
“Would you do that for my daughter?”
“Of course I will, I love her.”
Tymon sprinted to his wooden cottage in the middle of the forest. He grabbed a bag and put food, water, a torch and a woolly blanket inside of it. Going deep into the forest, Tymon could hear the birds singing and the sticks cracking as he trod on them. He saw a sparkling river with the sun shining down on it. As Tymon got near to the river he could see a figure sat down on a rock. Tymon glided to the figure sat down on the rock wondering if it was Isla. But no it was a man holding a bow and some arrows with a gold shield on the floor next to him, “Hello, I am Tymon have you seen a blue dragon flying to the cave by any chance?”
“I am Zeus, God of war and yes I have seen a blue dragon flying to a cave. I thought you might come past here looking for Isla. Anyway I wanted to give you these bows and arrows to fight the dragon and a shield to protect you from its fire breathing breath, also when you’re fighting the dragon aim at its wings as that is its weak spot.”
“Thank you, Zeus.” Tymon put the things in his bag and when he turned around again Zeus had gone.
A few feet away was the beginning of the cave. Running to the dark and gloomy entrance of the cave, Tymon got the torch out of his bag and walked into the cave. Tymon could see Isla sat down on the floor shivering and the dragon facing some markings on the wall. The Dragon had green spikes on its back and different shades of blue all over it.
“Over here Tymon whispered trying to get Isla’s attention.” Ida turned her head around and saw Tymon, Ida smiled. Reaching over his back, Tymon grabbed the bows and arrows. Tymon remembered what Zeus said about its weak spot. So aiming at the dragon’s wing, he fired it but the dragon turned around and saw Tymon. The arrow hit its back instead of its wing. The Dragon breathed its fiery breath. As soon as that happened, Tymon launched for the shield and just in time he put it in front of him stopping the fire from burning him to death. Randomly, Tymon shot arrow over the shield and luckily anough it hit the dragons wing. The dragon shouted in pain, Tymon shot another arrow hitting the Brest a stabbing the heart, the dragon slammed against the floor just missing Isla. Tymon ran to Isla and gave her a drink, some food and the woolly blanket from his bag.
Going home was simple for Tymon he went over the river and through the wood past his house and finally back to where Isla’s mother was sat on the muddy brown floor “Isla are you ok.” Her mother said as she ran up to her.
“I am fine, thanks to Tymon.”
“You’re welcome Isla I just have one question to ask you, Will you marry me?”
“Of cause I will” Isla said with a huge smile on her face. A week later Tymon and Isla got married. All of the other girls where mad with him, but they could not keep mad for long as Tymon and Isla had a baby boy and they called him Odyssey.
The End.
