The Green-Eyed Devil.

A myth submitted to the site by Molly Wyer

Burnley , England

Once Upon A Time There Was A Green-Eyed Devil. Everybody in the land hated him because of his rudness and mean-ness to the people in the land. So one of the people in the land had a plan to gather all the people toghether that lived in the land so they could kill the Green-Eyed Devil!

The person that came up with the plan was called Zacharias. He told the local people what he wanted to do "Do What I Tell You To And We Will Have Success". He had placed them in certain places for when the Green-Eyed Devil came out of his Castle there was a rope and they had tied it to two trees one on each side of the gates to his Castle.

The Green-Eyed Devil was approching his gates and Zacherias shouted "Now!". Bang! They had tripped the beast up and he went crashing down to the ground with a great thud! They tied him up and then Zacherias came running through the hedges with a massive sword he had killed the Green-Eyed Devil once and for all!

All the people in the land were shouting "Hurray for King Zacherias!" they couldn't thank him enough , they had made him ruler of the land now he is called 'The Great Zacherias killer of the Green-Eyed Giant'.
