The Forgotten Wish.

A myth submitted to the site by Babybluebethx

Set in west london. 29th May 1931. During world war 2.

"Harriet, come quickly, look ! over there! " Pointing at the stream.
"Wow, Peter thats amazing!".
Drinking from the lake was a beautiful, magical dragon. It had beautiful golden glimmering scales, wings the size of a tall tree and incredibly sharp teeth. There laying on the lush green grass drinking from the slow drifting stream. It was in the middle of the day when such a dreadful sounding siren filled the air.
" Oh no, Peter we must get back to mother and father they will be worried to death" Screeched Harriet.
" But its one of the rarest things on the earth harriet" "PETER, we must leave before they attack us, Peter !" Shouted worrily.
"Im coming im coming." Mumbled Peter.
Because of the dreadful screeching noise the dragon stood, spread its wings and dissapeared into the thick black cloudy sky. It was the attack alarm. The war was starting once again.
Harriet and Peter ran home as fast as they can to their mother and father to get to safety still not knowing how and why that amazing mythical creature was peacefully drinking from a stream on the west of the capital city of London, not giving a care in the world.
