Day 1!

Dear diary,
Today I was watching Arachne spinning her beautiful art work and suddenly the goddess Athena appeared out of nowhere. She challenged Arachne to a competition to create the best tapestry! Arachne took on the challenge that Athena set upon her. Hastily they started to create their tapestry. When they were finished Athena showed her tapestry. She made a picture of all the gods being happy and peaceful whereas Arachne showed the gods being disrespectful and drunk. Even though Arachne’s tapestry was disrespectful to the gods Athena couldn’t deny the fact that the tapestry was outstanding therefore, Arachne won! The more Arachne boasted the more angry Athena got. Athena, who was realy frustrated , turned Arachne into a hideous 8 eyed spider!

Day 2!

Dear diary,

As I hurried into the dark spooky forest thoughts where running through my mind! Will I ever see Arachne’s beautifu tapestry again? Will I ever see Arachne again? Will she ever be human again? As I ran into the centre of the forest I, saw an amazing spider web hanging. As I approached the spider web I realised the spider was identical to me. Eight red eyes and eight hideous hairy legs! Surprisingly, as I got nearer to the web I realised it was Arachne! I was so happy to see her again!
